ARAG has changed the filter cartridge colours in compliance with the already in force ISO 19732:2007 standard. In order to make the filter recognition easier, ARAG has decided to mark the cartridges with the relevant mesh indication and to apply outside the filter body another mark featuring the same colour as the cartridge, so as to make the filtration degree recognition immediate.

The correspondence of ARAG cartridge old colour to the new one required by the ISO 19732 standard, besides the filtering data, can be checked by means of the following table.

Floating Filter

Suction floating filter

ARAG floating filter

This suction filter is designed to operate a few centimetres beneath the water surface, thus preventing any risk of obstruction caused by the mud lying on the bottom or debris floating on the surface. The filter floats thanks to a closed-cell foam ring that prevents it from sinking even in case of accidental breakage. A counterweight ensures adequate balancing so that the suction point is always just beneath the water surface. The plastic parts are made of top-quality polypropylene while the ample filtering surface is built with stainless steel.

The floating filter is available with five different coupling diameters for the suction pipe.
