The Bateman RB range of agricultural crop sprayers has been designed and manufactured to the
highest standards for today’s arable farmer. Fitted with a choice of John Deere engines , fully hydrostatic four wheel drive gives 0-25 through four variable drive modes. Fully active suspension gives a comfortable ride with excellent stability on slopes , the chassis automatically stays parallel to the axle giving improved traction to all wheels.
The new cab has good all round visibility allowing the operator to see the front wheels turning into row crop work. A single joystick controls forward and reverse with air operated spray on/off . The cab can be tilted hydraulically and the diesel tank lowered to give easy access for maintenance . The 360 deg roof lights gives good visibility for night work.
The unique 2/4 wheel steer system is fully hydraulic with a Positive Link eliminating the need for realignment providing stability in both 2 and 4 wheel steer modes . At the push of a button the hydraulic adjustable track can be change without the use of jacks , making the RB range ideal for variable crop widths .
The fibre glass spray tank has an integral 200 litre clean water tank . This can be used for washing out the spray tank via the twin tank rinse nozzles or flushing out the spray lines if product is left in the tank . The unique contents gauge can easily be read from the cab and whilst filling ., with no contamination from the spray products.
Application is controlled via the LH AGRO 5000 computer linked to a pneumatic control system.
The well proven BATEMAN CONTOUR boom comes in 18 to 36 metre widths with a 12 metre fold down . The suspensin system gives excellent boom stability through a built in anti-yaw vertical suspension with dampened gimbal system, eliminating adverse boom movement . The boom is folded horizontally through synchronised hydraulics allowing unobstructed access to the cab , reducing the risk of contamination to the operator . Spray lines are stainless steel with quick fit nozzles , protected within the boom structure.
Filling controls and induction hopper are easily accessible without contamination from the spray booms. The 6 diaphragm pump is side mounted for easy access and maintenance
De-mounting the sprayer is a one man operation . Made easy via four four locating points and easy to use de-mount jacks . Hydraulic pick points and pneumatic couplings are easily accessible The spray line purge system (optional extra) purges the lines with spray mixture prior to spraying , allowing instant application from the field edge . Spray lines can also be cleared back to the tank using the pneumatic system.
